Lifting Points and Eyes

Lifting point or eyes, lashing points or swivel hoist rings are used to connect rigging hardware, a shackle or hook for example, to an engineered threaded point on an object such as machinery, mould tool, die or steel fabrication.

With products from Crosby and RUD lifting they are available as a simple eye bolt with a shoulder or with a swivel allowing the eye to rotate to align to the load with no loss of lifting capacity. Swivel eyes and hoist rings also feature a larger eye meaning a larger variety of rigging hardware may be connected and are available in higher load capacities.
